Four minutes past midnight finally released in South Korea.

I am such a big fan of literature and movies from South Korea. The authors and screen writers over there are master storytellers and have a sensitivity to their work that are seldom seen in other places. I am not sure exactly why this is. I am so impressed.

As a writer I was intrigued by the Koreasn tv-series when I found them last year. “Crash landing on you” had me stunned (such a good story), and I am not sure I will ever recover from “Something in the rain.” The cast with Son Ye-jin, Jung Hae-in and especially Joo Min-Kyung (she is such a talented actor) was amazing.

All these series are the perfect mix of popular storytelling and quality.

And this year the Swedish Nobel Prize was awarded South Korean author Han Kang, she is truly one of a kind with her own special style.

South Korea is the place where it all happens.

It is not hard to understand how happy I was when I learned that my children’s book “Four minutes past midnight” where being translated to Korean. Such an honor. Finally here is the cover art, that they did a very original take on. I love it.

It is astounding to have ones work so far away in the world, and the Japanese and Korean translations are one of the nicest things I have ever experienced.

Amazing to have readers in these languages.

Thank you, and hope you like it over there.

감사합니다
